Q. - How do I get to the island of Ischia?

Q. - What if I’m on Capri, or in Sorrento?
A. - During the season, the Alilauro line offers a morning hydrofoil from Sorrento, and one in the afternoons from Capri, which both come to Ischia Porto.

Q. - Once on the island at Porto, how do I get to the Hotel Europa?
A. - From Ischia Porto, take bus number 7 from the bus station - departures approx every 15 minutes - and get off at the stop near the Hotel Europa (just before the old town of Ischia Ponte). Alternatively you’ll find taxis and microtaxis awaiting you on arrival.

Q. - Can you organise a transfer between the mainland and the Hotel Europa?
A. -  With pleasure, just ask! For example, for two people, from either Capodichino airport or the main “Stazione Centrale", the cost of this service would be 90 Euro, which can be paid at your convenience when at the Hotel.

Q. - What’s within walking distance of the Hotel Europa?
A. - We’re in a very fortunate position, only a short distance from the historic centre of Ischia Ponte (where many of the shows and festas take place), some 500 metres from the Castello Aragonese islet, and only 200 metres from the popular Spiaggia dei Pescatori beach. For going further afield, there’s a bus stop near the Hotel entrance.

Q. - When is the swimming pool available?
A. - Guests have use of both our pool (whose thermal waters are maintained at around 32°) and the spa grotto (34°) throughout the Hotel's entire season.

Q. - Do I have to have a car to explore Ischia?
A. - No, you don’t! Ischia has a good network of bus routes, with tickets on sale near the Hotel. Additionally you’ll find taxis - and water taxis - as well as organised tours that we can book for you.

Q. - Is it possible to hire cars and/or scooters?
A. - Certainly, either when booking your room or once here! If you prefer, we can arrange for your vehicle to be delivered to you at the Hotel Europa. A great way to discover the island at whatever pace suits you best!

Q. - Do you have rooms with air conditioning?
A. - Yes, although only those in our "Superior" category. Our Standard rooms are all fitted with adjustable ceiling fans.

Q. - Can I book a room with a sea view?
A. - Yes, some of our Standard rooms look out over the sea and the Castello Aragonese. Don't delay though, their availability is limited!

Q. - Do you have rooms suitable for people with mobility problems?
A. - We have a small number of Ground Floor rooms that can be reached with only a minimum number of steps. Tell us your requirements when booking!

Q. - Do you have WiFi – and if so, where in the Hotel is it available?
A. - Yes, a free WiFi connection is available for guests, in the reception areas of the Hotel.
