We also organize a special trip around the island by minibus with on board guide and pick up from the hotel. 

If you like to discover naturalistic paths we advise you the "Sentieri della lucertola ", a rich variety of footpaths , set in a highly scenic environment. Another very emotional excursion is the one that starts from Serrara Fontana village to the top of Epomeo (788 mt.), either by foot or by mule. The cliff is an enormous mass of green tufa stone in which an hermitage and San Nicola's church were carved. This excursionist itinerary allow you  to enjoy the beauty of the local flora walking through uncontaminated and regenerating areas.

Another compelling place for visitors to make for is "La Mortella" gardens, in Forio village. Here, Sir  William Walton, one of Britain's most important contemporary composers lived since 1949.
The garden extends over an area of nearly 20.000 square metres and holds a collection of over 1,000 different rare and exotic plants.
Beautiful concerts are organized throughout the season, most of which are open-air performances. It is a perfect combination of natural beauties, artistic monuments and cultural memories.

The best way to get around the island (that provides you the most freedom), is the car or scooter rental. Raffaele and Sandro will be able to do the arranging for you.
